While VSC has programs designed for children and youth, adults are ultimately responsible for ensuring that children are safe. Quality, comprehensive sex education should include information about sex, sexuality and relationships. If we deny young people information about sex and relationships and tell them to not have sex then this also denies them the skills and tools to make healthy decisions.
