Coming soon: equine-assisted therapy for survivors in Montgomery County

A partnership between two nonprofits is bringing equine-assisted therapy to survivors of sexual assault. Starting in March, clients of Victim Services of Montgomery County Inc. may apply to join an equine-assisted program at Sebastian Riding Associates in Collegeville, PA. The program will be offered per the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (Eagala).

Victim Services of Montgomery County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1974 as Women Against Rape, Victim Services of Montgomery County has helped crime victims for over 40 years.
