About The Event

Join the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) and Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. to learn what you need to know about the status of statute of limitations reform for sexual abuse cases in Pennsylvania. Advocates will discuss ongoing efforts in the Pennsylvania legislature to open a path for adult survivors of child sexual abuse who have timed out of the legal system to seek justice in civil court. We'll discuss the options lawmakers have available including amendments to the PA constitution and new statutory legislation under consideration.

The advocate panel will also discuss the history of the revival fight, the importance of revival windows, and what we can do now to open the window before 2023.

A Question and Answer Session will follow the presentations.
