Your child's class will take part in Safe Touches, a 45-minute body safety and child sexual abuse prevention lesson led by trained educators from the Victim Services Center of Montgomery County. This short preview is for caregivers. In about 30 minutes you'll see exactly what the lesson covers, the language we use with children, and why it's taught this way. You can also watch the same lesson video your child will see, and download a one-page guide with conversation starters for home. Children are more likely to tell an adult when something feels wrong if that adult has already talked with them about body safety.
