Giới thiệu về sự kiện
Anyone in a faith community, clergy, volunteers, staff, or members who care about the safety of children in their congregation can benefit from this free training. If you work directly with children in your congregation, Pennsylvania law already considers you a mandated reporter. This session equips you to recognize and respond to suspected abuse with confidence, and can serve as a starting point or a strengthening point for your congregation's own child protection policies and procedures. Every faith community can build a stronger culture of prevention, and this training is a concrete first step. This training is approved for CEU credits pursuant to Pennsylvania Act 126 and Act 31.
Cost: this event is provided at no cost. However, for those seeking CEU credit, a fee of $25 per seat will be invoiced separately. Please plan to log in or arrive in-person by 8:50 AM to enable us to begin promptly at 9:00 AM. This training is approved for CEU credits pursuant to Pennsylvania Act 126 and Act 31.
Presented by Victim Services Center of Montgomery County in partnership with Intersect / the Multi-Faith Coalition.
